UGM's history can be traced back to 1918 when it started manufacturing of terminal posts in Shimo-osaki, Tokyo. Since then, UGM has been pursuing “workmanship” to meet customer needs in timely fashion and cultivating our technical expertise. With manufacturing of switch connectors as our core business, UGM manufactures a wide range of electronic parts from prototypes to mass production applications.

Japan has been a world leader in development of mobile phones, digital consumer electronics, and PCs. Manufacturing of these consumer electronics became possible, in part, by development of highly sophisticated parts-manufacturing technology. UGM will continue to support the development of new electronic products through its renowned parts manufacturing technology backed by its “Integrated Manufacturing Systems”.

UGM's business motto is to participate in customer's product development from its product design stage, by brining in its expertise in manufacturing feasibility knowledge.

Always committed to thinking from customer's perspective, committed to thinking with customers and committed to outputting high quality products with efficiency and rationality. Such stance has allowed UGM to retain customer support all these years.

We intend to raise the bar on the customer satisfaction level and pursue UGM proprietary technology in the years to come.
